Summary (from Goodreads)

Title : Crash Into You (Pushing the Limits #3)
Author : Katie McGarry
Publication Date : November 26th 2013

Publisher : Harlequin Teen
Goodreads - Amazon - Barnes & Noble

The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

Personal Thoughts

Isaiah has been one of my favorite characters in this series since the first book. There was something about this bad boy with a big heart that just pulled at my heart strings. When Beth shattered his heart in Dare You To, my heart broke along with Isaiah. So, I was excited that Isaiah finally got to have his own HEA because no one else deserved it more than he did.

Crash Into You introduces us to a new girl, Rachel. Rachel, I think, worked well with Isaiah. She was the light to his darkness and their opposing personalities is what made them such a terrific couple. I liked Rachel because she was different from both Echo and Beth from the start, but I will admit that it might have taken the whole book for me to actually warm up to her. This was because Rachel was, at times, too naive, which led me to being frustrated by some of her actions. I needed her to grow a backbone earlier than I expected. She was a sweet-heart though, especially compared to how bitchy Beth was, so I did think she was a good match for Isaiah. When it came to Rachel's family though, I had huge issues. They were one messed up dysfunctional family and they honestly disgusted me at times. Although I got where Rachel's mom was coming from, I thought it was so selfish of her to want Rachel to be like her dead daughter without giving a single thought to Rachel. I also had a strong dislike for Rachel's brothers who also disregarded their sister's feelings.

Plot-wise, there was just so much going on in Crash Into You. I personally thought there was too much going on actually and a lot of the issues were not completely resolved or were hastily resolved. I don't know if it's because I read too many NA novels, but overwhelming amounts of drama in books just plain annoy me now. Now, there was definitely no huge drama that prevented Rachel and Isaiah from being together, but the issues they had in their separate lives were so suffocating at times. I feel like this could possibly have been a stronger book for me had the author focused on just a couple of the issues. Despite that, I did enjoy Crash Into You, especially the romance part of it. There was definitely an insta-love vibe to it, but Rachel and Isaiah do get to know each other better over the course of the book and the chemistry between them was tantalizing. Moreover, Katie McGarry, is without any doubt, a talented writer and she seems to have a lot up her sleeve that I'm looking forward to. Her writing has this addictive quality to it that just makes you want to go on reading despite all the issues the book had.

In the end, I liked Crash Into You better than Dare You To, but probably less than Pushing the Limits. I'm wary to read the next book, which will be West's, Rachel's brother's, story because let's just say he did not leave a positive impression on me. Regardless of my issues with this book, I'm convinced that Crash Into You will work for a lot of readers.
