Personal Thoughts

I read the first book in the Billionaire's Bachelor series a few months ago and ended up really enjoying the book. It was one of those short, sexy and entertaining read that I crave from time to time. When I saw Torn up on Edelweiss, I was in the mood for exactly that kind of book. Torn tells the story of Gage, a cocky, arrogant and possessive businessman who will make many ladies swoon. I really liked Gage as a character and his POV was undoubtedly my favorite. His leading lady, Marina, was also a likeable character. She was an independent and hard-working woman. Plus, she was sassy and didn't take crap from Gage. The chemistry between Gage and Marina was explosive. That car scene? *fans self* However, that's all I liked about their relationship. The physical aspect of their relationship was very well-written, but after some time I needed more of an emotional aspect too. The reason being, their relationship moved way too fast for my liking. You never get to really watch them fall in love unlike with Ivy and Archer in the first book. Plus, Marina had her annoying moments which prevented me from completely enjoying the book. Regardless, this was an entertaining read and I would recommend it if you are looking for a fluffy, sexy book to get your mind off anything stressful.
