This is what Elsie Main remembers about her tenth birthday:

Every plot twist is electrifying, every flashback is achingly raw and every bit of buried, angry blame is brought to the surface. But really this is Elsie’s story – a young girl rocked by a family tragedy but still brutally honest and funny on first loves and the struggles of being a teenage outsider.

First of all, I'm in love with that cover! I have a thing for underwater covers and this one is gorgeous.
Secondly, WHAT happened to Eddie?! I feel like this is going to be a really good psychological thriller.
Thirdly, I love that it seems to be heavy on the family dynamics. LOVE!
Fourthly, why is the release date so far away?!
