**AUTHORS' NOTE**
It's possible to only read the Calloway Sisters spin-off series without reading the Addicted series, but you MUST read Hothouse Flower (Calloway Sisters #2) before reading Fuel the Fire (Calloway Sisters #3).

It's highly recommended to read the books in the recommended reading order, which is in tangent with the Addicted series. If you choose not to read Addicted After All before Fuel the Fire, there will be a time jump.

Fuel the Fire picks up in the Addicted Timeline where Addicted After All ended. FTF will not retell past events from Addicted After All in Rose & Connor's POV. All new material.

Author Interview

Hi Becca & Krista! I'm so excited to have you ladies on the blog today! You know how big of a fan I am.

First question, Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower were both supposed to be stand-alones. What made you want to write sequels to these books?

Krista: It was really the passion of the fans. The series started as a four-book series, never intending to have any spin-offs at all. But as there became more readers and interest, we felt like we had the ability to keep digging deeper into their world. Sometime while writing the end of Hothouse Flower, we realized that there was more to Rose, Connor, Ryke and Daisy’s stories. And that if the readers wanted it, we’d be grateful and thrilled to continue on.

Becca: Exactly what Krista said :) we could sense that there was more left to explore with the characters and their relationships after we wrote KTS & HF, but if no one wanted them, then we thought we’d close the series at Addicted After All. But thanks to all the fans, we were able to write ‘em.

OK if you two were asked out by all 3 boys, Loren, Connor and Ryke, who would you choose and why? If it were the girls, Lily, Rose and Daisy, who would you choose then?

Krista: Connor. Hands down. He’s just my type. The sexy intelligent guys are my favorite. For the girls, I would probably choose either Lily. She would just be fun to geek out with.

Becca: I’d go with Loren. He’s more “my type” just by his looks and his idea of fun (which is reading comics), but I do get in these moods where I’d want to do something adventurous, and in that case, I’d go with Ryke. So I guess it depends on the day. I’d choose to Daisy. We could climb a tree and eat cupcakes. She just makes everything more lively and fun.

I've already told you this before, but you guys have the BEST fans ever. What is your most memorable/craziest fan moment so far?

Krista: Our fans amaze us every day. We’ve been touched by some magical unicorn or fairy to have such incredible readers. Most memorable fan moment was probably when Jenn started the Addicted Series Fan Page. It was so early on in the series, and I just remember being overwhelmed by her love for our books. I never thought someone could love them as much as we did, and she thankfully proved me wrong.

Becca: Craziest fan moments—when fans began changing their Twitter un’s to names that encompassed characters and things from the books. That was so surreal. It started with one or two and then after Addicted After All, I think my heart had exploded by all the Addicted usernames. It’s something I never expected. Even writing this, thinking about all moments that the Fizzle Force has done that has impacted us, I can name about twenty more instances. It’s amazing, and we’re so, so grateful to have this type of support and love around our books.

The Addicted series is very entrenched in celebrity culture. Who are your favorite celebrities and have any celebrities inspired some of your characters?

Krista: We both find celebrity culture fascinating. My favorite celebrity is probably Emma Watson with Jennifer Lawrence as a close second. Oh and Michael Fassbender! Cannot forget him ;) We didn’t have any celebrities outright inspire the characters. Our first version of the book, none of the Calloways were famous or heiresses of any kind, so we had written the characters before that particular element was added in.

Becca: We’re TMZ-aholics. We love the ins and outs of celebrity culture, and it’s a big reason why we’re writing the Like Us series after the Addicted series ends. I’d have to second Krista’s Emma Watson and J. Law votes. I really love Sophia Bush, Nina Dobrev, Stephen Amell, and Cara Delevingne. And what Krista said, when we first started the series, we had no intention of opening into a “media” kind of book. It sort of happened naturally when we were writing Addicted for Now, so we didn’t have any celebrities in mind at the time.

Now that the series is coming close to an end, do you have any immediate plans to write books outside of the Addicted world?

Krista: We have a whole list of books we want to write. Some are spin-offs of the Addicted series and others are completely new and outside of the Addicted world.

Becca: We haven’t decided when these “new” books outside of the Addicted world will fall in line. We’re just seeing what we want to write when, but we do have definitive plans for the Like Us series, which is a bit of a spin-off of the Addicted series (but you can read it separately too).

Thanks so much for taking your time to answer these, ladies! I wish you all the luck on the release of Fuel the Fire!

Thanks so much for having us on your blog!!
