Hi beautiful people!

This week was good in terms of real life. I went to my internship which is finally starting to get better and I met two friends yesterday who I hadn't seen in 3 years because they are all over the globe. It was exciting to catch up and see that we're all still the same! :)

This week was yet another exciting week in terms of books! I'm so excited about some of the books I got.

I'm really looking forward to reading Shutter, which has such a creepy cover. I hope the inside is as creepy as the outside. I also got The Fire Artist because it looks all kinds of badass. Plus, the YA fantasy fan in me is thrilled to own this book.
I also downloaded Damsel Distressed. I've been waiting for a long time to read this not only because Jenny at Supernatural Snark designed the stunning cover, but also because it sounds like the perfect book for me.

I was exclaiming my excitement for the release of First World Problems to LeighAnn when she offered to send me a copy. I already read the book and LOVED it! It was so cute and also eye-opening.

Rival Love and Hard Knox are for blog tours. I've already read Hard Knox and it tackles a really important issue : date rape drugs on college campuses. I love it when NA authors tackle relevant issues and I thought it was done smartly in Hard Knox.

Finally, I bought Ugly Love on Tuesday and pretty much devoured it the same day. It was such a gorgeous book, very different from Colleen's usual writing style and while it was initially a bit hard for me to get into, I ended up loving it by the end. I'm still trying to figure out how to write my review. I'll have it up hopefully sometime next week.

Thank you to Netgalley, Macmillan, Bloomsbury, Scholastic, Spencer Hill Press, LeighAnn, YA Bound Book Tours and ATomR tours for the ARCs.
