Book Haul & Weekly Recap #61
Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Book Haul
Loop by Karen Akins
How We Fall by Kate Brauning
The Walled City by Ryan Graudin
Teaching Roman by Gennifer Albin
Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater
Hello beautiful people!
I hope you all had a good week! Can you believe it's already July? Where did the time even fly?
Anyways, this week I had a short, but pretty sweet haul!
I'm very excited for Loop. It sounds romantic and emotional, which is perfect for me! I also saw How We Fall on Edelweiss and thought it looked too mysterious to skip on. I'm a huge fan of YA mysteries and this sound excellent!
I also requested The Walled City because Giselle at Xpresso Reads had some pretty good things to say about it. I also love how the book is set in Hong Kong and has Asian characters! Yay for diversity in YA. I got a copy of Teaching Roman, which I feel like I've been waiting forever for, as part of a blog tour.
Finally, I bought Sinner when it came out. I've only read the first book in this series, but I own all of them. I figured if I bought this one I would be forced to finish off the first series, but Danielle at Love at First Page and Lauren at Love is Not a Triangle convinced me to finish it! ;) The danger of having bookish friends!
Thank you to NetGalley, Edelweiss, St Martin's Press, Merit Press, Little Brown Books and Inkslinger PR for the e-ARCs! Much appreciated!
Review : Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson (2.5 stars)
Cover Madness Giveaway Hop
Waiting on Wednesday : The Glass Arrow by Kristen Simmons
Review : Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson (5 stars)
Review : On the Fence by Kasie West (3.5 stars)
