Personal Thoughts

I wanted to read Fall With Me because of the revenge story line and it sounded like it had a sweet romance. However, I was left feeling very indifferent towards the story. I neither loved it nor did I hate it, which makes writing a review for this book really hard. Jenna just got dumped by her boyfriend for her best friend. She's angry and mad at the people who betrayed her, justifiably so. Jenna was a decent character, but I never really felt any connection with her. I sympathized with her, but I was never in synch with her either, which made enjoying this book very hard. The book is also told in the POV of Sutton, her ex-best friend's brother and Jenna's love interest. Quite honestly, the POV felt rather feminine at times, making it hard for me to differentiate between the two characters. The revenge plot was also not well-executed and I was left feeling bored a little. Overall, I thought Fall With Me was a mediocre book that had the potential to be better with some character development and better execution of the plot.
