Hi guys!

Hope you all had a good week and are enjoying your summer!
I had a good week myself. I got to meet some old friends and I participated in the High Summer Read-a-Thon, which was a blast. My goal was to complete 6 books and I did read 6 books.

This week I got some lovely ARCs that I've been intrigued by. I got Facade because of Nereyda at Mostly YA Obsessed Books. She enjoyed it and I knew I would to, so I got a copy off NetGalley and I read it the same day! It was such a heart-breaking read, but I loved it! I also got If You Leave off of NetGalley thinking it would similar to Something Like Normal by Trish Doller, because it deals with PTSD of a soldier, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Near and Far, I received as part of a blog tour. Be sure to stop by my blog tour stop on Tuesday!

I loved the cover of Promise of Shadows and I also thought the premise sounded interesting, so I requested it off Edelweiss. The Shadow Prince and White Space were available as download-nows on Edelweiss. I think they still are. Anyways, these are two books that are on my wish-list, so I was excited when I saw them available. When I saw These Broken Stars on NetGalley, I was so happy but then I saw that the publisher was Disney Hyperion and my heart sank a little. I'd heard that they didn't approve book bloggers for their titles, but I still decided to click that request button, so you could imagine my excitement when I saw the approval email! I might have done a little happy dance! So far the reviews for this book have been really positive, so I'm definitely intrigued.

A Darkness Strange and Lovely was one of most anticipated sequel. I bought it with my leftover money from my gift card last week. I also got Undeclared, which Sharon at Obsession with Books loved!

I also went to the library and saw that The Program was available. I had an e-ARC of the book, but I never got to read it because it expired and I didn't have enough time.

I'm really looking forward to reading all these titles! They sound fabulous!

Thank you to Edelweiss, NetGalley, Grand Central Publishing, Simon & Schuster, Egmont USA, Disney Hyperion, Nicole Williams and AtomR Blog Tours for the lovely review copies!

Weekly Recap

I had 4 reviews up on the blog this week. Here's a recap :

Review : Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Mass
I completely adored this sequel to Throne of Glass! I loved the characters, the romance, the writing and the plot! I can't wait for book 3! I rated it 5 stars.

Review : Gated by Amy Christine Parker
While I didn't enjoy the characters as much, I was fascinated by the plot and the description of the cult. It was unique and very enjoyable. I rated it 4 stars.

I loved this book! It had an overused concept about kids with superpowers, but the author's execution of the book made it outstanding! I rated it 4 stars.

This UF book was funny, had amazing characters and a great romance! By the end, I was dying for more. I rated it 4 stars.

That's it for me this week! I hope you guys had a fabulous week as well!
Hope you have a great weekend!
