Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! How have you all been! I've had a good week except I had a lot of studying to do with mid-terms and all. I had a relatively small haul, but it was a sweet haul! I can't wait to get started on so many of these books! :)  Here's what I got:  The Young Elites by Marie Lu  I love Marie Lu's Legend series so I was really excited when this latest series of hers released on Tuesday. I don't know just yet if I'm going to read it immediately or wait for the whole series to come out. So many books, so little time!! Chaos by Sarah Fine AHHHHHHH! I can't wait to read this one after I finish Fractured. I LOVED Sanctum, you guys! It's one of the best YA Paranormal/UF series out there and if you haven't read anything by Sarah Fine, then you are missing out! Tied by Emma Chase More Dr...

Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! How are you all doing? I hope you had a fantastic week. My week was busy with mid-terms and assignments, but it was surprisingly not a very stressful one, which I'm grateful for. I also started a new job, which has got me all excited! Somebody made the mistake of announcing on Twitter that I'll Meet You There was available on NetGalley and I HAD to visit so I could request it and I wound up getting a bunch of other books as well. So, yeah, there goes my NG & EW ban! I did make sure to get only the ones I REALLY want to read and not everything that interested me, especially those Harper ones. Anyways, here's what I got this week: Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe  This sounds like it has such a cool concept! I couldn't resist requesting it when I saw it up on NG. I'm excited to find out...

Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! I hope you all had a lovely week. My week was pretty great. I got some good news that made my week even better on Friday. I also got some fabulous books that I'm excited to read! I've been avoiding going on NetGalley and Edelweiss because I know I will want to request everything and I've been successful at that! Anyways, here's what I got this week! Lark Rising by Sandra Waugh  This is fantasy and I've already heard some great things about it. Of course, I had to buy it. The Fire Wish by Amber Lough  I've been looking for more jinni books ever since I read Exquisite Captive. This sound exciting and I like that it has two main characters.  Stay With Me by J. Lynn This is unfortunately the only Jennifer Armentrout series that works for me. I've enjoyed all of the books in this s...

Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! I hope you all are doing well. This is my first book haul post since coming back to the US. I was too lazy to do one last week. So, school started two weeks ago. So far, it's going well. I'm really enjoying my classes this quarter. I hope I continue to feel the same throughout the quarter. I also moved in to my new studio apartment. It's a lot bigger than I expected and it's very cozy. I'm loving it but I think most of all I love that I don't have to deal with a roommate. I do feel a bit homesick though and from time to time I keep remembering my family back home, but there's Skype now, so I can call them whenever. :) Anyways, the first thing I did as soon as I got back here was to buy books of course! I got some pretty awesome books and here's the list: I'll Give You th...

Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! So this week, I fell sick all over again. I went to see a doctor and got antibiotics and I'm definitely feeling better. But throughout the whole of Tuesday and Wednesday, I was in bed. Good thing I had books to keep me company! This coming week is also my last week with my family. I head back to the US on Friday and classes start on Monday. I'm not mentally ready for this! Last year was a bit rough for me, not in terms of the actual classes, but I was homesick often and struggled with my roommate quite a bit. I'm crossing my fingers that this will be a better year, especially since it's also my senior year! Anyways, so Harper did one of it's EW upload this week. I managed to not snag everything they put and get just the ones I want to read. They also put up The Orphan Queen which I'm...

Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! I hope you all had a lovely week. I had a bit of a rough one. I was sick in the middle of week and was stuck in bed. Being sick sucked, but I got a lot of reading done while I was in bed. I also completed my internship at the medical lab. The place grew on me, so I was a bit sad to say goodbye to all the lab techs.  I did have a good week in terms of books. Here's what I got. Love and Other Unknown Variables by Shannon Lee Alexander  This has a Math and Science nerd as a protagonist. Of course, I want to read this. Sacrifice by Brigid Kemmerer FINALLY! Finally, it's Michael Merrick's story. I loved this guy since the first book, so I'm thrilled to finally read his story. Wild by Sophie Jordan I requested this like 2 months ago and I only got approved this week. I read it last night and ...

Book Haul is weekly feature here at Nick's Book Blog inspired by Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Review and The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Book Haul Hi guys! Summer is starting to wind down. I'll be back to school in 2 weeks and I can't say I'm looking forward to it. It's going to (hopefully) be my senior year of college and I'm so nervous about what's to come next!  Thinking about the future always stresses me out. Good thing I got some fabulous books this week to de-stress me! As you can probably tell by glancing at my haul, I'm going through a romance phase. It's all that's working for me and it's all I'm craving too. Most of the YA books I've read lately have been pretty much mediocre (in the 2-3 stars range), so I think I might need a break from YA for a bit. The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma I haven't read anything by Nova Ren Suma, but I've heard so many good things about her gorgeous writing s...

Book Haul Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas The Aftermath by Jen Alexander Lailah by Nikki Kelly Dissonance by Erika O'Rourke One Past Midnight by Jessica Shirvington Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely week. I had a decent week myself. I caught up with some friends from high school and it was nice hearing about their stories abroad and sharing my own. I also discovered a new cafe in my town with delicious cakes and crepes, which is bad for me. I've already been there twice this week. There's no controlling me when it comes to cakes! I also got some gorgeous books that I'm excited about. Abigail Haas contacted me about Dangerous Boys. Apparently they aren't publishing it in the US because Dangerous Girls was unable to sell many copies, which makes me incredibly sad because Dangerous Girls was a BR...

I also started my internship, which is nothing like I expected it to be. I also went book shopping and made trips to the library.  I got Whisper the Dead from NetGalley. I loved reading the first book and was excited to see that the sequel was available on NetGalley. I also got Sugar on the Edge. I LOVE Sawyer Bennett's books and I've really enjoyed the books in this series, so I'm dying to read Savannah and Gavin's story. I'm not a fan of the co...

I also got some sweet books! 4 of these are on my most anticipated books list, so I was excited to get them.  I hadn't heard of Stone Cove Island before I saw it up on NG, but I'm always up for a good mystery, especially one set in a creepy-sounding town. I've been looking forward to reading Gates of Thread and Stone ever since the cover reveal. I'm all for fantasies these da...

Book Haul Loop by Karen Akins How We Fall by Kate Brauning The Walled City by Ryan Graudin Teaching Roman by Gennifer Albin Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater Hello beautiful people! I hope you all had a good week! Can you believe it's already July? Where did the time even fly? Anyways, this week I had a short, but pretty sweet haul! I'm very excited for Loop. It sounds romantic and emotional, which is perfect for me! I also saw How We Fall on Edelweiss and thought it looked too mysterious to skip on. I'm a huge fan of YA mysteries and this sound excellent! I also requested The Walled City because Giselle at Xpresso Reads had some pretty good things to say about it. I also love how the book is set in Hong Kong and has Asian characters! Yay for diversity in YA. I got a copy of Teaching Roman, which I feel like I'...
